About Our Hospital

Tytus Chałubiński’s Poviat Hospital in Zakopane is a modern medical facility with both excellent management and highly-qualified medical team. Since 2003 the head of the hospitalis Regina Tokarz.

The facility has 200 beds in surgical wards (a total of 11 wards) and 9 beds in the Hospital Emergency Department. Over the last ten years, all wards have undergone full modernization to provide patients the most comfortable treatment conditions.

The hospital has modern medical equipment and devices. In the hospital’s diagnostic laboratories Patients have full range of medical tests as endoscopy, USG, X-ray, CT and cardiology. The hospital also provides invasive cardiology services in the Hemodynamics and Electrophysiology laboratories.

In addition, the hospital provides services in the field of: outpatient specialist care (18 outpatient clinics), primary health care (including POZ Clinic and night and holiday health care outpatient clinic), outpatient physiotherapy, as well as emergency medical services (emergency teams). In 2019, 3 new ambulances were purchased for the needs of emergency medical teams and sanitary transport. In the winter and summer seasons, an additional emergency medical team is launched to ensure efficient provision of services during increased tourist traffic.
